Circuit One D Force 1 Review: A 4-Actuator Motion Platform That Fits in a Suitcase
Quick summary· AI-generated
The Circuit One D Force 1 is a 3-DOF, four-actuator motion system priced at $4,700 that emphasizes installation simplicity (10 minutes, no external control box) and fine-detail road/braking feedback over large-travel movement. OC Racing tested it against the Moza HMA150 and found it exceptionally quiet with near-perfect default tuning, excellent for ABS and road texture detail, but notes that 50mm travel limits big pitch/roll effects and some effects don't scale yet. The platform lacks SimHub support at review time (coming soon) but represents a notable alternative to larger motion rigs for detail-focused drivers.

In the niche world of sim racing motion platforms, everybody is currently talking about this. The D Force 1 from Circuit One is a complete 3-DOF, four-actuator haptic motion system that, believe it or not, fits inside a suitcase. Opening it makes you feel like a super villain.
What you find inside is surprisingly tame, and that turns out to be the whole idea. In my testing, this has been the easiest motion platform I have ever installed, and one of the most informative I have driven. The interesting question is whether 50 mm of actuator travel is enough.

The Circuit One D Force 1 gives up dramatic, amusement-ride movement in exchange for some of the most usable road and braking detail I have felt from a motion system, and it does it quietly.

Sim racers who want a compact, quiet platform that tells them what the car is doing.
NOT FOR
Drivers who want big, dramatic, amusement-ride movement.
