SayIntentions.AI Releases Live Maps V2
Quick summary· AI-generated
Live Maps V2 overhauls SayIntentions.AI's map interface with enhanced aircraft tracking via SkyNet markers, precision tracking on mobile, integrated Taxi Tuner airport diagrams with custom ATC taxi routes, gate selection and requests, and multiple map modes (satellite, terrain, dark) with weather overlays. Available on Windows Desktop Client, PocketSky mobile app, and in-sim MSFS EFB and Toolbar applications, the update brings real-time positioning data directly from the simulator for faster mobile tracking and includes measurement tools and flight-path backtracks.

SayIntentions.AI has released the “Live Maps V2” for all subscribers, a rebuild of the previous flight map, now with smoother traffic tracking, taxi guidance, airport diagrams, weather layers, and direct gate requests.
The new map is available via the Windows Desktop Client, the “PocketSky” mobile app, and SayIntentions.AI’s MSFS EFB and Toolbar applications. Desktop users can pop the map into a separate window, keeping it visible while switching between the simulator and other apps.
With the new update, aircraft tracking should now be smoother, with SkyNet markers showing another pilot’s departure airport, destination, and current frequency. Aircraft sharing the user’s frequency are identified with a headset symbol.
If using PocketSky on mobile, there is also a “Precision Tracking” function. When the mobile device is connected to the same network as the PC running the simulator, PocketSky can receive your position via the Desktop Client’s sim connection, instead of relying solely on normal position updates over WiFi. It will thus update your tracked position more quickly, as it receives data directly from the simulator. It will provide more immediate movement and positioning of the user’s own aircraft on the map.
Live Maps V2 also includes SayIntentionsAI’s Taxi Tuner data, which now displays airport layouts and the taxi route assigned by ATC, including taxiways, gates, and holding points. If someone has created a custom Taxi Tune profile for an airport, Live Maps will use that version of the airport diagram.
Once a destination has been set, you can select an individual gate marker, check the stand size and whether a jetway is available, and submit a gate request directly from the map screen.
You can choose to set your map in satellite, terrain, or dark map modes, and there are also additional weather overlays for precipitation, cloud cover, and pressure. An animated wind layer can also be toggled to display wind direction and speed across the map.
When browsing the map, airport markers will appear, providing information about the local airport, such as its type, surrounding airspace, and field elevation. An information view explaining the symbols and colours has also been added.
Other additions in this update include a ruler measuring map distances and BackTrack points, which display the path already flown behind you. Panning and zooming functions have also been reworked, especially during transitions between detailed airport views and the route…
