Quick summary· AI-generated
BeyondATC has developed native X-Plane 12 integration after months of development, moving away from reliance on the community ClearanceLink mod. SayIntentions.AI is adding aircraft traffic injection and CSL support to X-Plane on October 16, bringing feature parity with its MSFS version. BeyondATC
As for BeyondATC, they say they have spent several months on native X-Plane support, so that the BeyondATC experience can be brought over in full, rather than relying on an unofficial compatibility mod.
Indeed, the announcement was originally meant to go out during the upcoming FSimUK 2026 event; however, following the release of ClearanceLink, a community-built bridge connecting BeyondATC with X-Plane 12, it went out earlier. This was reported by FSElite earlier today.
No release date has been shared regarding BeyondATC X-Plane integration, nor has the developer confirmed a price point. More info on this is expected soon.
SayIntentions.AI update
SayIntentions.AI already supports X-Plane 11 and 12 for their conversational ATC and several other parts of the platform; aircraft traffic injection has been missing until now and has been exclusive to MSFS 2020/2024.
This is now set to change, with SayIntentions now confirming that traffic and CSL support will be released for X-Plane on Oct. 16.
This traffic system will generate and control other aircraft around the user themself, supplementing the AI ATC already implemented. Hopefully, this will bring the X-Plane version up to feature parity with functionality already present in MSFS.
These two announcements, from BeyondATC and SayIntentions.AI, arrived within days of each other, so we decided to cover both in a single article.
SayIntentions’ traffic support is confirmed for an Oct. 16 launch, while BeyondATC has yet to provide a release window for their own native X-Plane integration.
